As of 2021, the usage rate of Hasançelebi ore pre-concentrate as run-of-mine ore in Divriği facilities has continued to increase and reached 2.4 million tons on an annual basis. Since the relavent ore is a low iron grade, the Fe grade of the pellet produced due to the increase in use in Divriği facilities has fallen below the critical limit of 65%. In this context, to increase the grinding capacity of the concentration plant, an additional ø4,800x5,720 mm primary ball mill and auxiliary equipment have been installed into the existing system. The new technology used in the added primary ball mill has also improved HSE and environmental performance. Erdemir Engineering contributed to the planning, design, purchasing and project execution processes within the scope of the project. The testing and commissioning work of the subject project was completed successfully on May 19, 2023.
